Allergic contact dermatitis is characterized by itchy, red skin caused by contact with an irritating substance.

So, you should start by using it on a small portion of your skin. Do this for a few days to see if you experience any symptoms. If you don't experience any symptoms, after a few days, then you can start using the product in a normal fashion.
